We were in the market to buy our second home. My agent was friendly and so was everyone in the office. However, upon working with our agent, we soon realized that our family's desires were not placed as the first priority. Not only did we state what area we wanted to look at (and were not taken to), but also sent listings to the agent that we were interested in viewing (none of which we were taken to). Our agent only took us to see houses listed by Exit Realty. We ended up finding a house on our own that we bought. We were highly pressured into using their lending agent which turned out to be a horrific experience. The lender did not make sure that all the docs were in place before closing and the day of walk through notified us of this information. So our house did not close this day and we had to wait several more weeks before it closed. These were just some of the experiences that occured. Over-all, we had a very stressful experience.
