I was initially thrilled to find this website. I had been looking for a Zen alarm clock at an affordable price. I ordered a clock, and when I received it, it was not in working condition. I had bought this as a present for my partner's birthday, which was in the same week the clock arrived. I called the company and it was explained to me that if I could either get a refund, or a replacement clock at a 10% restocking fee. Because I didn't want to lose money on a broken item, and also because my partners birthday was in a few days, I opted for a refund. When I the amount was credited back to my card, I noticed it wasn't the full amount. I emailed the woman I had been dealing with. And again she told me, I could either have a full refund, or a replacement (+10% restocking fee). This made no sense to me. In the next email she claimed that their policy was that if a product was refunded they would charge a 10% restocking fee, and if I got a replacement there would be no additional charge. Because I had already bought my partner this clock for his birthday at another store, I agreed to a replacement if I could receive a different model. I placed an order for a different model and colour. (Digital Zen clock- travel size) A few days ago I received a "replacement" for the original clock. Only when I opened the box, it wasn't what I ordered at all. It wasn't even what I had originally ordered. That night I left a message with the company and I have also sent two emails. No one will get back to me, and because I used a American Express gift card, I can not return the item and claim a dispute. They woman I had been dealing with originally was very short and rude thru her emails, and when I told her I didn't appreciate it, she did try to make me happy by sending a replacement. Only it's not what I ordered. This company has been so unpleasant to deal with, I wish I didn't have to beg them for good customer service. I have been trying to work this out now for almost 2 months, all along having to get up at 5 am to reset my partners clock after he gets up, for the time I get up. I have been literally losing sleep over this! All I want is someone to contact me, not make me pay over $12 out of my pocket again to send it back to them, and send the replacement I ordered!
