First off, note that this company, or I should say CROOKS, also goes by the name of "Advanced Moving & Storage." These are the worst kind of crooks that not only take advantage of people moving using a "bait & switch" scam, but in my case they literally stole everything I own! They came & packed out my household possessions December 7, 2009 in Oakland, CA for a move to Vista, CA... it is now February 8, 2010 & I have still never received any of my possessions! They have never made an attempt to deliver my items or to even return any of my numerous phone calls or e-mails. The day of delivery they showed up over 2 hours late, were unprofessional, & refused to give me any copies of paperwork I signed (the contract, Bill of Lading, no receipt) & refused to give me documents required by Federal Law to give me. Their charges for packing material were 3 times the normal cost & they were liberal with the use of these items to point of excess. The next day I called to speak to a supervisor--Eric Bowers, though on here he is also listed under Eran Bar--& he was horrible! He did nothing to fix any of my problems, never sent me the contract, he only made me angrier! In addition to everything else, the company also changed the price quote so as to charge more money, then insisted that my household went over their estimated weight by more than 4,000 pounds. The original quote for my move was $800--the final bill was over $4,000! As I've said, two months later I have never received any of my possessions nor even any attempt by the "company" to deliver my household possessions to me. These guys are seriously the worst kind of crooks I have encountered & I beg everyone out there to not only NEVER use these guys, but to warn everyone you know to STAY AWAY from them!These guys don't even deserve a one star rating, but it is the lowest star I can pick.
