Showed us faked photos of "terrible" condition of our heat/air system to sell us $2000 repair insurance.

Divine Comfort Products called us, implying previous relationship, asked to come and do “annual inspection” of our system. Technician returned from attic with photos on his phone of rat droppings and a filthy clogged system. Convinced us to buy insurance policy covering current repairs (including burned out $300 UV light) and any needed repairs for next 5 years. Made appointment to came back and do work next day. Later we became suspicious, crawled into attic and found photos were not of our attic, and there were no rat droppings. Contractor friend came and opened up system. It was totally clean and working perfectly. UV light had been unplugged but was fine when plugged back in.
