Review 3/1/2011

I was solicted via email that this firm would be able to save my home from foreclosure by having GMAC write a new loan, reduce the value of the home to current market value, get a loan modification and have all back payments placed back into the new loan. I paid them nearly 3700.00 in two payments.
Contact with the firm was consistent and frequent up until they received the second payment, then virtually no contact. Phone calls are seldom returned and emails go unanswered. In fact, twice when I called the contact number the voicemail mailbox was full so I could even leave a message.
Initially I feel they were deceptive and I was under the impression that they were a home foreclosure law firm, they are not. They are filing litigation to sue the banks for improper foreclosure filings. Mu house is in auction status in 3 weeks and they told me that I should contact a lawyer and file chapter 7 bankruptcy. When I mentioned this to them at the very begining I was told that they would be able to postpone the sale. Also when I told them I had 3 second mortgages with a different bamk, I was told they'd handle that at a later time, but never told me how they would do it.
I think I am getting swindled and how can I get my money back?
Thank you,
Daniel Turlip
