Review 2/23/2009
|
I had done business with my agent to purchase auto insurance for my 2005 Toyota Camry. I gave my agent $284 on 01/07/09 as the broker fees of $154.45 and as my first month payment towards Reliant General of $129.55. On 01/13/09 there was a letter in my mailbox for an increase in rate. That was subjected to an increment of $124 since the good-driver discount was taken away. On 01/23 Reliant withdrew $129.55 from my checking account. I got back in-town on 01/26 and contacted my agent to know the cause of it. I learned that it was because of a good driver discount being taken away. I DID NOT AGREE to those terms or a premium of $149.33/mth with the good driver discount being taken away. I asked my agent to cancel the policy she had purchased for me right away which she did. I went back to Infinity Insurance and re-instated my policy I had with them. In total for the one month I had the policy, I spent $413.55 in inclusion of my agent and Reliant General. My agent has been trying extremely hard to get money back from Reliant but they are un-willing to do so. As a matter of fact, they claim that I owe them $6.00. For a one month in total premium, I shouldn't have to be charged anymore that $129.55 since that is the terms I had agreed upon. I should be subjected to the difference in charge of $284.00.
They are thieves and I would never use them AGAIN!
