Please beware of this company and it's practices, as Sunset Dental and its staff have a reputation for pushing additional services on their patients that are above and outside of any rates that the Insurance company has negotiated. It seems to me to a blatant and ongoing practice of this office to assign dental treatments to Dr. Bijan Afar, (whom is not a general dentist, but a surgeon) and charge fees for services well above the Insurance companies negotiated rates and they do this by misleading you and misrepresenting the facts of your policy.
Make sure you verify any procedure and it's costs with your insurance company before you have any treatments done.
