Unique Design and Accessories has a BBB 'F' rating for good reason.
We had to give them 1-star because we were not allowed to give the zero-stars.
Unique Design and Accessories is a 'Bait and Switch' company with quality of workmanship that is poor and unacceptable.
They came into our store and showed us a catalog of very nice products. They promised a very high-end product.
We ordered one of their more expensive items, because our customers are used to a high quality, high end product from us.
We had our delivery people drive to their location and pick-up the product because the fee the demanded for delivery was too high.
We paid for the product when we picked it up.
The product was fully wrapped, so we did no inspect it until it arrived at our store.
We found that the product was of the wrong design, had an inferior quality fabric, (not the fabric we ordered), had a leg missing, had piping missing, did not have the higher quality cushions we had paid extra for.
It was junk produced by obviously unskilled labor. It was not something that we could sell in our store.
Many of our calls and messages to Rekha Prosad of Unique Design and Accessories went unanswered.
When they finally did start to answer, we went through several false promises that they would come to our store to inspect the product.
In the end, they refused to refund us.
They also refused to respond to our BBB complaint, which is a factor in their 'F' rating.
