I recently visited Western Dental for repairs of broken teeth and crowns, I had a appointment. On my visit to get my impressions I was put in a dental chair and sat there for over an hour with no communication from the staff on what was going on, I thought they had forgotten I was there. By the time I left the office I had been there for over 2 hours. I called the manager regarding this incident and had hoped that they would correct their customer service deficiencies. They made a appt for me to come back for my permanent crown. I received a confirmation phone call about my appt, showed up for my appointment and was then told that there was a "delay" in the delivery of my crown and that I would have to reschedule. I asked them why I received a confirmation phone call for the visit and why didn't someone call me to cancel appt, the assistant's response was that I should have called to make sure crown was in. I don't believe it is my responsibility the check on a service that they are providing, that I am paying for. I have taken off several hours from work to try to get this dental work done without any results. I don't live close to the dental office, it costs me 10.00 in gas everytime I have to drive their. The practices are inefficent and unprofessional. I did not have insurance for this work, its alot of money for me and due to the amount of time I have taken off of work due to their incompetences my job is in jeopardy.
