I recently used yellow cab for a ride to delray beach from fort lauderdale airport.
The cab representative at the taxi stand secured a flat rate of $70 for the trip, cash or credit card.
When I entered the cab I confirmed this with the driver.
I gave the driver the address, and we began the trip.
Once on 95, the driver told me he had no idea how to get to that address, and maybe I should call a friend to help him get there.
From memory I directed the driver and we arrived at my destination.
Upon payment, the driver then charged my card $87. When I questioned this he said that it was a cash price only.
I offered cash and he then said it was too late.!
I called the cab company and they told me that no such deal should have been given to me, and that they are aware of the taxi stand at the airport doing that but would not honor the price.
I would like to give zero stars for this review.
it was a bad experience.
